New England Academy of Torah has serviced the educational needs of the Providence community for over 50 years. One of the principles of the school is to provide a Jewish Education to any family or child regardless of financial ability. The school employs the highest standards of financial accountability by requiring all families needing financial assistance to apply with FACTS, an outside agency representing many private schools. Applicants must complete a thorough application and send in tax returns and other verifiable data. The financial aid committee reviews this information and implements a tuition fee based on the recommendations of FACTS. Even with these high standards the school must allocate over 50% of gross tuition to provide aid for needy students and families. The school raises these funds through a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. A donation to any of these events or a direct donation to the Scholarship Fund is a wonderful way to touch the lives of needy students and their families.
